The No to Violence Workforce Development Team will be releasing a new public training calendar mid-May that will offer the following training opportunities:
- Introduction to Working with Men using Family Violence
This four webinar series offers insight into understanding what informs gender based family violence and unpacks the unique pattern of coercive control used by men using abuse and violence in their relationships.
- Everyday Conversations
This two webinar package unpacks the gendered drivers that underpin family violence and explores practical ways to ‘interrupt’ violence supportive attitudes and beliefs using safe bystander approaches. This training is helpful for workplaces and community groups wanting to discuss and actively work on prevention strategies. It is also well positioned in the corporate environment as a scaffolding training tool to support family violence policy development and implementation.
The Workforce Development Team
No to Violence warmly welcomes a new Senior Training Practitioner who brings significant international experience in primary prevention work and working directly with men using family violence in a number of Australian contexts.
